No — and it's not meant to. It's a personal evaporative cooler that cools the small area right around you (about 3–5 feet), like a desk or bedside. For a whole room, you'd need an air conditioner. Judge AiraBreeze as personal comfort, not room cooling.
It works best in dry or moderately warm air. Evaporative cooling depends on dry air to work, so in very humid places (like coastal or tropical areas) the cooling effect feels milder. If you live somewhere dry, you'll notice more benefit.
Very little danger. It draws only a few watts and is USB-powered, so running costs are a tiny fraction of a traditional AC. That low energy use is one of its biggest real advantages.
The tank is small, so expect to refill it as needed during the day — often once or twice for continuous use. Refilling takes only a few seconds. Use clean water and clean the tank/pad regularly.
No — it's designed to be whisper-quiet, which is why people like it for sleep, focus work, and video calls. Higher fan speeds are a bit louder but still modest.
